MSJ Sports & Fitness Centre offers Body Sculpting, also known as Sculpt. Body Sculpting is a strength-training, full body exercise that is designed to tone body muscles, improve flexibility, and to reduce body fat.
Experience Body Sculpting at our friendly Sports Centre situated in the heart of Great Malvern with free parking for members. Attend our weekly classes to experience the many benefits, and connect with new friends in our welcoming Sports Centre.
Body Sculpting uses minimal equipment such as light-weight dumbbells to assist in toning your body. The classes are fast-paced and suitable for all abilities.
You will be guided every step of the way by one of our trained instructors, Simon, Gabbie, Martin or Sam and questions can be asked throughout.
BENEFITS OF BODY SCULPTING
- Strengthens your core
A strong core supports a better posture and increases stability. Body Sculpting focuses on maintaining the core muscles and strengthening areas with the use of light body weights, without ‘bulking’ these muscles but instead lightly toning them.
- A full body workout
A happy body is a happy mind! A great way to start off your fitness journey is instead of focusing on one area of the body, begin by warming up and safely working every muscle. Paying attention to every area instead of certain muscle groups, increases your chances of having a fit and strong body all over.
- Low impact
Body Sculpting is great for beginners or those who are not familiar with using dumbbells or other exercise equipment such as resistance bands. This low-impact activity increases strength and flexibility, which in turn, improves the flexibility around the joints. Overtime, this can help you get involved in much more active exercises such as running.
